Session Type: Innovation and Monetization In the Eyes Of A Female Athlete
In the NIL era, Social Media gives athletes access to technologies that help them build their personal brands and monetize their name, image and likeness. Meta’s family of apps also provides equal opportunities for athletes who are traditionally underrepresented in the NIL space, including female athletes. As a result, we’ve seen many female athletes successfully using monetization tools such as Instagram Subscriptions, NFT’s, branded content, and Instagram Shopping to build business and connect with their fans. We will explore this evolution with a panel of collegiate stars who are driving the industry forward while working to level the playing field.
