Will I need a credit card for the hotel?

Yes, you will need a credit card to pay for the room and any incidentals (e.g., mini-bar).

What should I do when I arrive?

If you are flying in, we have shuttle buses that run hourly from 10AM to 8PM on the arrival day. When you get to the hotel, there is a check-in desk. After checking in with us, you'll check into your room at the hotel.

Are media welcome to the event?

Yes, please contact us at info@studentathletenil.com if you'd like to attend.

Are sports agents able to attend?

No, this event is not open to sports agents.

Is there time to go out and explore the city?

Yes, except for the night of the awards ceremony, attendees are free to go out and explore the city on their own.

How are nominees selected and voted for?

We have a selection committee comprised of sports professionals, journalists, and administrators.

Will/Can my school cover the cost of the ticket?

Yes, many schools send student-athletes to the event. Please check with your coaches/athletic directors.

What is the dress code?

Attendees should be business casual (no t-shirts, hoodies, shorts, etc.) for the event sessions. There is a formal/award ceremony and attendees are typically dressed in evening attire. See the Gallery for examples of what past attendees have worn.

Are high school students eligible to attend?

You must be 18 years of age or older to attend or enrolled full-time at a college.

How many attendees are expected?

Are meals included?

Yes, breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided and are included in the ticket price.

How do I book a hotel room?

Once you register for the event, we will book a room for you. Student-athletes are expected to share rooms (2 to a room). We will contact you to accommodate requests for a specific roommate. If you don't have someone, we will assign someone (same gender) to your room.

Is there a shuttle from the Nashville Airport to the hotel?

Yes. The NIL Summit is providing chartered bus service from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport on the last day of the event. This is at no charge to attendees.

How much does it cost to attend?

The fees for the event are $750 for the two-day event, excluding the cost of hotel. Attendees are expected to arrange for their own transportation to Nashville.

Where is the NIL Summit?

The 2026 NIL Summit will be in Nashville, TN. Details on the hotel and logistics will be coming soon.

When is the NIL Summit?

The NIL Summit is June X-Y with attendees arriving on Friday, XXX.
